Dawn BishopDawn’s outstanding professional reputation has established her as a leading freelance harpist in the Chicago area.  She maintains a thriving career performing for weddings, special occasions and corporate functions. Her music is also featured at the Morton Arboretum’s holiday and tea events throughout the year. A versatile solo and ensemble musician, Dawn performs with numerous ensembles and is a founding member of the Artista Trio.

Upon graduating from Wheaton College, Dawn debuted professionally at Chicago's Drake Hotel in 1998. She entertained guests for afternoon tea during a ten-year steady engagement.

Dawn serves as the harp instructor for Benedictine University and maintains a private studio in Glen Ellyn, IL.  She is a trained Suzuki harp teacher and formerly taught at Sherwood Conservatory of Music. In 2007 Dawn was selected to co-chair the American Harp Society's Institute and National Competition in Chicago.
